Compliance and Training Manager

Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years’ experience in all things related to chimney maintenance and repair

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong independent problem-solving skills.

  • Team-focused mentality.

  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

  • Understanding of excellent customer service.

  • Must have the ability to continually learn and improve.

  • Achieve CSIA or commensurate certification(s)

  • Microsoft Office products

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all sweep technicians are following data capture requirements for chimney lining estimates.

  • Review estimates and visit job sites to ensure efficiency when lining crew performs job.

  • Manage OSHA compliance.

  • Be subject matter expert and main point of contact for all sweep related questions.

  • Training new and existing sweep staff on all aspects of the job.

  • Use company issued tablet and computer to manage estimates and assist in scheduling activities.

  • Assist warehouse manager for parts and stock needs.

  • Represent A Merrie Sweepe Chimney Service professionally, caringly and proudly.

  • Field customer questions.

  • Be able to accomplish general repairs.

  • Must have valid driver’s license.

  • Assist other departments at A Merrie Sweepe Chimney Service when needed.
